Sasha, (Russian Overseas Flagship 2021-2022), a Russian Language Capstone student at Portland State University, presents a report at Kazakh National University on her internship at the Main Botanical Garden in Almaty, Kazakhstan where she worked in the Dendrology Laboratory as well as the Marketing Department. She describes the importance of the Main Botanical Garden in the development of urban green spaces in Almaty. Her internship took place in the 2022 summer semester.
