Philip Kim is an Asian Languages & Cultures, Linguistics, and Chinese major at the University of Washington. As a Flagship Capstone student at his university, Philip has participated in the 2022 Chinese Overseas Flagship Capstone Program in Taiwan and has completed his internship during the Fall 2022 semester. Here, he is presenting his research on the origins of Chinese characters in the Korean language.
