Hassan, (Arabic Overseas Flagship 2018-2019), a pre-medical school Capstone student at the University of Arizona, presents a report at AALIM Center on his internship at a local hospital in Meknes. He reports, among other professional topics, on the use of different languages (Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan Colloquial Arabic, and French) at the hospital between the physicians, nursing staff, and patients. His internship took place in the Spring 2019 semester. This student is of Middle Eastern heritage but learned Arabic as an undergraduate in college.
